Assassin's Creed Reveals Bizarre AoT Collaboration for Holiday Season
In a unexpected collaboration that challenges usual forecasts, the game developer has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Uncovered
According to the authorized release, "A strange confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of forbidden rituals and terrifying transformations echo through the darkness." The storyline presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden group.
The adventure concentrates on "strange tests and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Changes
The trailer features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Items and Bonus Features
Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an unique katana together with multiple artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
